Client Service and Conduct Agreement Salam Cleaning Services

This agreement outlines the full scope of policies governing scheduling, fees, professional conduct, liability, and media consent for all clients of Salam Cleaning Services, operating in Etobicoke and the Greater Toronto Area.
By booking a service, the Client agrees to uphold the standards and terms outlined below to ensure a respectful, secure, and high-quality experience for both parties.

Section 1: Scheduling, Fees, and Satisfaction Policy
1.1 Cancellation and Rescheduling
  • Flexible Changes (No Fee): Clients may cancel or reschedule appointments up to 48 hours before the scheduled service time without penalty.

  • Late Changes: Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours prior will incur a $50 CAD non-refundable fee.

  • No-Show Policy: If our team cannot access the property at the agreed-upon time, the Client will be charged 50% of the total service cost.

1.2 Satisfaction Guarantee
  • No Refunds: Salam Cleaning Services does not offer cash refunds for services already rendered.

  • Complimentary Re-Clean: If dissatisfied, the Client must notify us within 24 hours of service completion. We will return to re-clean the specified areas within 48 hours, at no additional cost.

Section 2: Professional Conduct and Safety Standards
2.1 Zero-Tolerance Policy
  • Prohibited Behavior: Any form of verbal abuse, harassment, discrimination, unwanted physical contact, or assault toward staff is strictly forbidden.

  • Immediate Termination: Violations will result in immediate and permanent termination of all service agreements without refund. Incidents will be reported to law enforcement.

2.2 Communication and Non-Solicitation
  • Authorized Channels Only: All communication regarding services, scheduling, payments, and feedback must occur through official Salam Cleaning Services channels (office phone, email, or client portal).

  • Private Contact Prohibited: Clients may not contact staff via personal phone numbers, emails, or social media.

  • Non-Solicitation Clause: Clients agree not to hire, solicit, or engage any current or former Salam Cleaning Services employee for similar services for a period of 24 months.
    Breach of this clause will result in a liquidated damages fee of $5,000 CAD.

2.3 Limitation of Liability
  • Fragile Items: While our team exercises utmost care, the Client agrees to secure or remove all items of high monetary or sentimental value — including fragile, breakable, or irreplaceable items — prior to service.

  • Pre-Existing Damage: Salam Cleaning Services is not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, including deteriorated finishes, improperly mounted fixtures, or items already in disrepair.

  • Damage Claims: All damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.
    Liability for accidental damage caused by our staff is limited to a maximum of $500 CAD per incident and must be supported by documentation via the mandatory “Before” and “After” photos (see Section 3.1).

Section 3: Photography, Quality Assurance, and Media Consent
3.1 Mandatory Quality Assurance Photography
  • Purpose: Cleaners are required to take non-identifying “Before” and “After” photos for internal quality control and liability documentation.

  • Privacy Protection: These photos will exclude people, pets, personal documents, and mail. They will never be shared publicly and are limited to room and surface documentation.

3.2 Optional Marketing Consent
  • Promotional Use: With consent, Salam Cleaning Services may use “After” photos or videos of cleaned spaces for marketing on its website and social media.

  • Client Anonymity: All images will be edited to remove identifying features, ensuring complete privacy.

Section 4: Client Acknowledgement and Booking Confirmation

By completing a booking, the Client confirms the following:
